BOOK SYNOPSIS

Billy grinned. “Oh, New York,” he whispered. “We’re gonna have so much fun.”

I Hunt Killers introduced the world to Jazz, the son of history’s most infamous serial killer, Billy Dent.

In an effort to prove murder didn’t run in the family, Jazz teamed with the police in the small town of Lobo’s Nod to solve a deadly case. And now, when a determined New York City detective comes knocking on Jazz’s door asking for help, he can’t say no. The Hat-Dog Killer has the Big Apple–and its police force–running scared. So Jazz and his girlfriend, Connie, hop on a plane to the big city and get swept up in a killer’s murderous game.

My Thoughts

I was seriously creeped out with book 1 I Hunt Killers but book 2 Game upped the ante considerably and then it became a bit predictable so when we get to the end cliff hangers saw them coming a mile away. Think that probably means my brainwaves are too in synch with the imaginative authors?

For sure am not going to forget the way this one played out any time soon, from the character of Billy Dent to Jazz’s hemophiliac sidekick Howie, Lobo’s Nod sheriff G William, NYPD Detective Hughes, FBI agent Morales to Connie the girlfriend of Jazz the ensemble together and alone has a part to play in this latest addition to the trilogy.

Finding ourselves in the big city of New York with Jazz as he becomes the number one asset that the NYPD and FBI are using to determine the identity of the Hat-Dog killer as well as apprehend him stopping the murder/mutilations that have escalated with each body found.

Jazz once again also finds himself trying very hard to rise above the voice of Billy in his head as he becomes deeper and deeper involved in the workings of the case.

Meanwhile back home Howie and Connie are doing a little investigating of their own, what they find may have serious impact on helping Jazz view himself in a different light.

Finding myself eagerly uncovering each twist and turn along with Jazz
was an easy rhythm to recapture and as the truth was revealed it even became clear where the plot was going, this did not in any way detract from enjoying the book but rather enhanced it once it got to the point where my predictions proved true.

This story was twice as long as the first book but it flew past faster than I expected, book 3 Blood Of My Blood will be read closer to September 9th release date and am very much anticipating it!
