My Thoughts
Three best friends since meeting at a summer camp as children Claire, Georgia and Mary Catherine are indeed as different as can be but friendship through thick and thin has kept them close even ten years since graduating High School.
Now Mary Catherine is preparing for her wedding so as bridesmaids Claire and Georgia have vowed to help out and make the last two weeks prior to the end of MC’s single life memorable!
What none of them expected or planned for was each woman finding herself caught up in events that change the course of each of their lives forever, especially Mary Catherine herself.
All three of these short stories are tied together, first by the common thread of preparing for the Christmas Eve wedding, second by flashbacks of their younger selves growing up together in Holly Hills Texas and lastly by the fact that they all find the love of their lives just in time for Christmas.
Having lived in Texas my whole life love to read cowboy romance and those set around the holidays are always fun, this was no exception as all three novellas were endearing in their own way and happy to have met Claire, Mary Catherine, Georgia and the men who captured their affections despite their best intentions!
While these could have all been combined to create one book the different novellas work as complete stories as well so in the end it was a very nice contemporary set of romances to enjoy.
