My Valentines day present was a beautiful hardbound copy of this latest series by one of my favorite authors. It had everything hoped for in a Young Adult novel including some things was not expecting. The idea of dragons living among unsuspecting humans is as fanciful as vampires, werewolves and demons doing so but as a lover of raw fantasy tales this was escapism at it's finest for me!The premise is now set up, the wait is on to see how Ember, Riley, Garrett, Dante and the other characters interact with each other in book 2 when [b:Rogue|23497851|Rogue (Talon #2)|Julie Kagawa|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1422811982s/23497851.jpg|27251846] is published in fall of 2015.
Personally the anticipation of the next adventure pitting the dragons against the soldiers of St. George as well as the representatives of the Talon organization has my stomach in knots!
