AmazonB&NBOOK SYNOPSIS
Jazz Dent has been shot and left to die in New York City. His girlfriend Connie is in the clutches of Jazz's serial killer father, Billy. And his best friend Howie is bleeding to death on the floor of Jazz's own home in tiny Lobo's Nod. Somehow, these three must rise above the horrors their lives have become and find a way to come together in pursuit of Billy. But then Jazz crosses a line he's never crossed before, and soon the entire country is wondering: "Like father, like son?" Who is the true monster?
The chase is on, and beyond Billy there lurks something much, much worse. Prepare to meet...the Crow King.
My Thoughts
As with all good things this is the end of the
trilogy but in no way does that detract from the powerful emotions you will be forced to experience once again when reading this hair raising tale of blood, death and revelations that will cement the
authors ability to present a dark story without overdoing it and scaring potential fans from reading future works.
Jasper faces more than his own mortality in this book as do Connie and Howie, what really impressed me the most is how each one stood up to their tests and came out stronger for it!
The book picks up where the last one ended and this time there is no doubt that the lines Jazz Dent has kept from crossing in the past are going to blur, the only real question is when all is said and done will he manage to stay alive long enough to explain the reasons the why of his actions to the authorities who are questioning whether he has finally become his father’s son.
The other question from the beginning has always been will Billy win? When you read this last book in the trilogy my answer would be no one wins but you have to experience it and make up your own mind, keep in mind though your brain will not find this one easy to wrap around as it has some pretty startling and horrific revelations!
