Housewife Blues and Chihuahua Stories

This was a different take on vampire mythology with the creation of the Vesper's and an intense paranormal romance with a twist that will take reader by surprise. I thought that the story was well thought out with a unique premise but at times the execution was a bit stomach turning during certain scenes, the last of the book though when we were no longer following the central character was not something that worked for me very well as it almost seemed like the beginning of a different book. Feel that this series has potential for growth and it would be interesting to see where the author picked up the tale in the next book, however for me it did not quite capture me enough to care one way or another so will not continue.

This was a quick read as story is very short however it is well thought out and very enjoyable overall.
