Reading these out of order has of course caused me to miss the back story leading up to this 5th book but it still worked well for me as a stand alone plot line. Totally could tell that the author has grown more comfortable with setting up not only the romantic relationship angle but also how the main characters are portrayed in their respective roles.Looking forward to reading more in the series .
