AmazonB&NBOOK SYNOPSIS
The third installment in the mesmerizing series from the irrepressible, #1 NEW YORK TIMES bestselling author Maggie Stiefvater.
There is danger in dreaming. But there is even more danger in waking up.
Blue Sargent has found things. For the first time in her life, she has friends she can trust, a group to which she can belong. The Raven Boys have taken her in as one of their own. Their problems have become hers, and her problems have become theirs.
The trick with found things though, is how easily they can be lost.
Friends can betray.
Mothers can disappear.
Visions can mislead.
Certainties can unravel.
My Thoughts
Slow going on computer but as interesting to read as previous two, even when it seems to meander off into unknown territory it still entertains me. Out of the three this last book is the most unnerving, unsettling and flat out strange read.
Now that the mystery of Cabeswater has been solved the Raven Boys and Blue are doing their utmost once again to find Glendower and also find Blue’s mother Maura.
There is an unexpected death, unexpected revelations concerning Blue, a totally noteworthy change in character for Adam and even Ronan has proven to be more amenable this time around.
As the third book in this series we are shocked, cajoled, bemused and beguiled by events all the way to the drastic ending where we are left with an epilogue that once again changes things for everyone.
What happens next is anyone’s guess, waiting for book 4 for some answers.
