BOOK SYNOPSIS

When Sawyer O'Donnell takes a ranch job on a whim, he lands smack dab in the middle of a Texas-sized feud! The Gallaghers and the Brennans are at each other's throats to woo the red-headed spitfire, Jill Cleary, and stake a claim for the Fiddle Creek Ranch.

Jill makes Sawyer's blood boil. They argue, they banter, but Sawyer soon goes from being driven crazy to crazy in love. Damned if he knows how that happened. But now that it has, how does he compete with two men that can give this cowgirl a lifestyle beyond her wildest dreams?

My Thoughts

We return to Burnt Boot Texas and Gladys’ Fiddle Creek Ranch is the focal point as her niece Jill Cleary has come to Texas to learn how to run the spread, and when Gladys deems it time to take over for good.

Sawyer O’Donnell is the new ranch foreman whom Gladys hired with the understanding that he stays for at least a year, however upon meeting and getting to know Jill Sawyer finds himself for the first time feeling like he has found the place to hang his hat permanently.

With cut fences, fending off seductive cowboys and outrageously aggressive cowgirls, working hard running not only the ranch but the bar and general store we find Jill and Sawyer slowly learning that they are not only falling in love with Fiddle Creek Ranch as well as Burnt Boot but with each other. The romance is everything you can hope for, the kittens Pig” and ”Chick” steal your heart every time they appear and best of all the drama that is the ”pig war” will have you spluttering with laughter as well as shaking your head at the lengths the feuding families will go to!

Blasted through this book in one day simply in love with returning to the feud between the Brennan's and the Gallaghers, proving for the second time that life in Burnt Boot Texas could never be boring.

This one once again cemented my love for the way in which characters come alive and places become close to my heart making me wish to visit both for real if only I could.
