There is always so much emotional turmoil going on in each book but in this 4th in the series Chess is a powder keg ready to blow. Between the case she is working for The Church and her insecurity of her relationship with Terrible Chess has to dig deep inside her heart as a momentous decision she must make has the power to change the future of herself and everyone around her.This was an intensely nerve wracking nail biter of a read but worth every second!
