Like every other story in this series with my favorite couple Cat and Bones there was a sense of coming home in reading the book. It was a perfect mixture of watching the two enjoy each other with an ease that has been such a long time coming and an action packed adventure that included old friends Denise, Spade, Ian, Tate and Cat's dearly departed Uncle. It also included a few new characters such as a very hilariously over the top medium named Tyler and his pooch Dexter who is not only a ghost alarm but an absolutely disgusting pet!Even Cat's kitty Helsing was given quite a bit of story line, poor kitty almost spent some of his 9 lives in this one! This was a smooth paced, easily enjoyable sit down and read book. The fact that the over 300 pages just flew means that once again the author has penned a winner in the ongoing series. The only bad thing for me is that it had to end! There is a small preview of the Christmas Novella that comes out in November Unti Christmas Novella that features Bones and his 245th Birthday.
