We go from where things left off in book 3 Magic Strikes and there is not one page in this story that you are going to want to skip. Like everyone else who is a fan of the series my expectations and desires for things to explode have been met and exceeded by this book! Kate is seriously challenged and has to fight not only for her life but truly her sanity. In reading other reviews it has been said by Abigail at All Things Urban Fantasy that Ilona and Gordon have basically changed the entire series in this book, they did but in such a way that if you were not a fan and you read this installment you first you are going to run to buy the others ASAP! We get non-stop action, beautifully written scenes that we have long awaited with Kate and Curran and more absolutely brilliant twists and turns culminating in an ending that while it satisfies leaves you longing for more. So much more and waiting to see where the thrill ride takes us next is going to be harder than it was this time!!!
