Housewife Blues and Chihuahua Stories

As a huge fan of author Jennifer Estep and her Elemental Assassin series it was a very great pleasure when I read and enjoyed her first book in her Mythos Academy series. This second book was not quite on the same par until almost a third of the way in and then it took off like a rocket. Gwen has pretty much captured the essence of her magical gift, she proves even more resourceful than in the past and between the attempts on her life and her ongoing attraction to Logan this was a novel thrill ride once it got under way. I am so much now looking forward to the next book, #3 Dark Frost because once read the teaser to the book in the back of this one knew it was going to take us places that fans of the new series have never gone before!
